dont get me wrong, I love Pittsburgh. Good people, beautiful skyline, great food, cheap real estate… But as far as “nice”… i dunno about that.
Theres a reason why a house that costs $100K in Pittsburgh costs $250K in Ocean City.

nothing like the sparkling, crystal clear waters of the Allegheny and Mon. all of the raw sewage thats dumped into them really brightens them up.

because its a booming coastal resort town. The roads dont have holes in them, the local government isnt bankrupt, it has 10 miles of beautiful beach… Its a pretty cool place to live. A lot of the novelty of it wears off after you’ve been here for a while, and to be honest I’d much rather live in Pittsburgh, but I wouldnt call OC “the place where all of the toilets in Pittsburgh empty out”
i didn’t… but at least you eluded to the point that it’s a resort town… because that’s all it is. there isn’t a ‘real’ economy, if you know what i mean, and of coarse the roads are nice… that’s how travelers get there!!!
it lacks a lot of key industries of an evolved town… so some things are nicer and some aren’t.
run a search and check out the stupid shit like lifestyle, healthcare, schooling, saftey, transportation and what not.

oh I totally understand what you mean. In all reality its comparing apples and oranges. there is a year round economy here though. The eastern shore of Maryland produces like 40% of the nations chickens. Perdue and all that shit are all based down here. I love the burgh, but I dont like it when people call OC a shithole, because it is far from it. You want to see a shithole, go down to Virginia Beach.
