sick, didnt see that, thanks

Dave, please reply back to this thread, if/when you get that repaired. A shout-out to the company that fixes them for you, results (after pic) and a quick review would be good information for us here.

Thanks!

No problem!

Agreed, it seems like thats a common issue and though everyone has their opinion who is better, posting up some pictures of the results would be great and how the company was that you deal with for future references!

Yes, some prices, turnaround time, before/after pics… good customer review would be nice.

will do, im gonna call them and see if they can fix it with the tire on, if so im gonna get it done asap, if not it may take a while as I dont have a spare to put on.

COOL, thanks buddy! GL with it.

that guy is out of business… going to try another now lol

damn lol, this isnt as easy as I thought… I called two other rim guys and there telling me if its on the OUTside of the rim they cant fix it… How the fuck do these guys get business? lol… How often is a rim bent from the INSIDE? lol

Buy 1 new rim?

more often than it is on the outside?

It probably wouldnt be worth it, id have to buy the rim and then paint the lip as they didnt come with it painted… In the end I’d be paying what I could get a new set for.

For real? I honestly dont ever think ive seen a rim bent from the inside…

well you have to think that on the majority of wheels, the part behind the face comprises 80% of the wheel at least.

Not sure if were on the same page?

The front of the rims is whats visable when your looking at it on the car. The inside of the rim is the same side that the breaks and rotors are on.

Every car ive seen gets the FRONT bent from curbing, hitting a pothole or running over something too fast. I havent seen too many rims that were bent from in INSIDE.

A lot of them are bent on the inside. Ever watch a tire when its on a balancer?

i’ve seen a ton of wheels bent at the lip, not sure how many i’ve seen bent on the inside of the wheel tho.

that sucks. I dont think they could do a good job regardless tho, that should be a weak spot even if they did fix it

agree and Ive heard that people that CAN do it make it just as strong as original.

Evidently three of my rims are slightly bent (not visible to the naked eye)…have to look into this place.
