As the title says.
performance inprovements i think its on duffern
dont waste your money.
Over drive
pm GT
royal purple gives you more horsepower and helps your engine rev higher
I use it, just overdrive,
That is where I got mine,
and please let me know why it is a wast of money pleases.
I’m using some 80w90 GL-5 gear oil for my new diff… is this a good choice?
i found some at precision tuning motor sports
they are at the corner of keele/steeles
pretty good price too! only 8 bucks a litre for the motor oils!
I would reccomend Motul or Redline (redline is slightly cheaper)
Royal Purple eh im not such a fan.
Just my opinon though.
before people start bashing rp, take a look at these results
Cool article,
however this kind of test would be better for gearboxes where shear strength is the most important thing
in an engine its all about heat management. being able to soak up a lot of gasoline without losing lubrication properties and not thinning out excessively or losing lubrication ability at extreme temperature is key
im no oil engineer but I know motul works and has been working forever. I also know it can handle tons of fuel content before it breaks down.
that is a really neat article
yeah i seen that so thats why i want some for my upcoming oil change. What kind would i need for my diff?
What dif fluid is recommended/needed and what’s available.
Royal Purple Max Gear is what you want for your diff.
Truth. Although that test is really neat and everything it doesn’t represent much of what’s taking place in a working engine with added heat and contaminents playing a factor.
Royal Purple is great oil but for daily use a good synthetic should suit you fine. Frequent oil change intervels are more important than the brand of oil being used I’d say.
forget that, I can get Redline if you want the best there is…
