It looks from the picture that it’s a pretty old tv. Most CRT’s have one or two knobs near the screen. Now, im talking about inside the plastic casing that the electronics reside.
Should clear up your fuzziness. BE CAREFUL. There are capacitors inside there that can shock the fuck outta your hand. Dont go poking around with a screwdriver.
Are you using an RFU adapter to connect the system to the TV? Sometimes a bad connection there will cause that.
i dont own it yet, i bought it because they were getting rid of it dirt cheap due to the problem. The model number is PT51HX41E It is a panasonic. If anyone has info on the tv, that would be great to… I am about to go look at the panasonic website, but i know it is a 51" HDTV
this is the owners manual: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/PT51HX41E.PDF
TV was first released in 2001
Sometimes there is a focus adjustment right on the flyback transformer. I’ve seen computer monitors that go out of focus as they warm up, or start out blurry and get better after they warm up. Either way, adjusting the focus can sometimes make them usable again, but not always.
