Thats what I figured but I thought I would give it a try. Thanks for the help everyone. Gonna put it up on craigslist and see if anyone grabs it.
Ive fixed plenty of drowned phones by blasting all the water out of them and then getting them rather hot over a flame (stove, grill, campfire)
if your holding onto it, you will know when it stares to get to hot … but thats for freshly dunked phones …
