Do we have anywhere between Albany and Plattsburgh to do a mileage set in a junkyard dash for my F-350?
electronic or mechanical speedometer? Some of the older mechanical ones are pretty easy to reset.
Ive seen a 100k+ speedometer set to read 20k before because the original cluster stopped working. The car had a legit 20k on it but the junkyard cluster had 100k+. All it took was a screwdriver and some time.
its a digital display. 2007 truck so I am sure it’s electronic from trans to dash.
I would call Plattsburgh ford. Some clusters can be reflashed with different milage readings others can’t.
