Apartment Dogs

Don’t like the breathing sounds of a pug?

Get a puggle then (Beagle/Pug mix)

See my post above… I think pugles would be a good dog.

I’d imagine it would be. Maybe the best of both worlds?

you’ll be happy with a puggle

English Bulldog is my prefrence…hopefully I will have one eventually myself but I think they kick ass.

puggles look cool

i can get ya a 3/4 lab 1/4 pit… all black puppy in a few months… and one of the ones from the first litter doesnt shed all that much

I’m watching two Pugs right now for a cuppla days for friends. They are cool. They shed alot and make weird noises.

How about a Staffordshire Bull Terrier? Looks just like a Pit, but females range from 20-35 lbs and males fange from 25-40, so they’re a lot smaller.

Black pugs shed less, they don’t have a double coat like the fawn pugs.

Shiba Inu would be a good choice, my buddy has one and it doesn’t shed a lot If you want a bigger dog for an apartment, look into a great dane. They are excellet for apartments due to their inactivity.

Pitt bulls and the Staffordshire Bull Terriers may become problem children if you do not keep them occupied. They are very active dogs and constatly need to be mentally stimulated or they become destructive (usually chewing) especially when puppies. My pit reminds me of my GSD when it come to intelligence and getting into trouble.

Very true statement- my six year old female Pit is as active as most puppies from other breeds.

These are my two. Old picture though, this was when Duffy was a little pup about a year ago.

The black one is now full size, the older one has just gotten fatter and greyer since this pic.

Had to show some love to my dogs here.
If I had to get a little dog, or one for an apartment, I’d get a pug. Never met a pug that I didn’t like. Such characters. And the noises are endearing.

^^^^those dogs are beautiful.

Very correct!

Also on the Pit convo, if you do attempt to do a Pit, MAKE SURE YOU CRATE TRAIN right away!

I think Miniature Pinscher’s are great dogs for an apartment.

Border collie  although they are very active smart dogs they like to run dunno if thats great for an apartment though… but they learn fast and like to be active
