And fill them with cement so they don’t blow away…errr
Alpha, that would be awesome if you’d bring those out. Every little bit helps.
Aaron. I’ll be down at DTP Calgary so I’ll bring the amp down for sure. Maybe we should just borrow my dad’s new 53" widescreen…lol, I’m sure he won’t mind.
Dave, do you drive out the Sherwood Park Fwy. on the way home from school? There is a city traffic storage yard just off of 17st that has a shitload of cones sitting there. Would it be possible for you to stop in before/after class and see if they are willing to sell some to a non-profit organization? :E
Ill get a price on these today.

And ill also get a price on the screen walls (Shown at the bottom of the page ^) in case we want to use this outdoors at something like SCC.
[/quote]
Wouldn’t some sort of walls to block light be optimal for this if we’re using the back of it for showing movies? Maybe banners that hang off of at least 2 of the sides that could block a bunch of the light?
Anyway i did some price investigation at work today.
Cones (Hard plastic)
12 inch high $13.99/4
10 inch high $6.99/4
If we were to buy a whole bunch of sets of 4 we could probably get a better deal.
Screen tents:
$40
$120 might be able to swing $100
$149
The sides for ^^^^^
76-5142-$40
76-5143-$50
76-5144-$100
^^^^Shown at the botton of ^^^^
I am pretty sure i could get another 10% off those prices.
Flavio, dude! TinyURL should become your best buddy!
Instead of posting those long ass URL’s, go to tinyurl.com and paste the long one into the box, hit “make tiny” and then copy and paste the small one into the box here.

VS.
Easier on the eyes. Nice job with the prices though, shit that’s cheap for a tent like that!
I just don’t understand why the one with only a roof is the most expensive.
If we were to go for the first one we could just make walls for it out of cheap sheets from Walmart or something.
Because it is a bit better quality.
Is that really an issue with what we’re doing here. It’s not like this tent will see massive amounts of terrible weather.
Picking a tent that will withstand wind should be a goal. wind has been the thing that has ruined more tents than anything I have seen.
I would imagine the tent would spend most of it’s used life indoors… but I suppose we could bring it to some outdoor meets as well if it was fit.
Nope but we could always use it for bbq’s
OK guys, I talked to Laurie at Namao today and July 10th is off the market. So, unless everyone wants to ditch DTP Edmonton, we’re hooped for events until May 1st, when we can apply for the August dates.
This isn’t such a big deal though, because we can rep the NECC by attending events in packs, and then observing what they do well and poorly - then we can apply that knowledge to the events we run and do them better.
Anyway Matt, we should work out a time to get your amp and my speakers together and make some sonic love. Not sure if they’ll fit in my car, but I have the feeling that I can stack them both in the trunk.
SHIRTS & SPONSORSHIP IDEA…
Perhaps the sponsors Logos/Names Could go on the shirts? Maybe that could be a part of the sponsorship deal we offer or maybe they could help pay for part of the shirts… Just an Idea.
-R
We actually talked about that at the last board meeting, but to be honest, I think the consensus was that we’d want a little more than $200/year to have their logo printed on our shirts. Not everyone likes to wear shirts that have someone else’s name plastered all over them.
You’re thinking about NECC stuff though, so good on ya.
OK, offer to let them have space on the tent $$$ per side, can take up to 4 side adds (im assuming the tent is a square)
Like a 12inch deep banner attached down 1 side, along the top of the tent

I think they’ll actually end up on the club banner. The idea was to print a blank space beside the NECC text, and then place large stickers of the sponsors in the space. If they leave, their sticker gets taken off. There was also talk about printing the sponors on the backs of the flyers we’re handing out.
You make that sound like its NEWS. I already told you that on tuesday. :?
Calm down girls.
Sweet cat fight on Sat. I got $5 on pyreXXX, now remeber girls, no biting or pulling hair
The only reason I needed to find out was because she had told me emphatically that it was still available, so I just needed to get confirmation from her that it was gone. Wasn’t calling you a liar or not trusting you, just double checking.
And no one ever wants to fight me. I’m probably the dirtiest fighter you’ve ever seen - I pull hair, gouge eyes, drop elbows in the back, etc. I’ve never been in a real fight before because I even fight dirty in playfights and I don’t want to hurt anyone. Except the next car I see with a double deck aluminum spoiler and stock rims… :E
