All these tanks and no saltwater? I’ve got a 90gal SW that I havent invested much time into in the past year. Just been maintaining it. Its got 2 percula clowns, an 8" brittle star, cleaner shrimp, handful of assorted crabs and a bunch of random snails. I’ll post pics soon.
I have a 55 gallon glass O’Dell tank with hood, lights, pump, etc, etc, for sale if anyone is interested.
I am surprised myself. I made sure to get big ones, so that the needles would leave them alone and it has worked thus far.
Pets Plus has a sick ass black octopus. I watched it eat yesterday. Only 80 bones!
My neighbor gave me this guy late last night.
Common Pleco I think?
72 Gallon Bowed Front w/ oak stand

I have a 55 gal fresh water setup and I just bought a 28 gal nano cube hqi that im excited to get running
Help!
Something is wrong with my new fishies. 5 have died throughout the past week. At first I thought it was ich and treated it. But the fish that showed symptoms have died and today 2 fish that seemed healthy yesterday, have died.
I think all the tri-color sharks (4 left) are gonna die as they are not eating.
What is going on? I see no more signs of ich. water temp is perfect. oxygen is good. They are fed well.
Only thing I can think of is the ammonia level, which can’t be too high because The water is only 7 days old and has had the filter running.
What exactly do you mean the water is only 7 days old?
What are all of your levels at with your test kit?
Fuck.
FWIW always use starter fish when you first set up your tank so that this doesnt happen.
The tank has been set up for 7 days. running to store now to get ammonia tester
You need to get your tank to cycle before you put a crap load of fish in man!
I know. I was anxious and excited. I put bacteria starter in. Thought it would work wonders I guess.
you put too many fish in too fast. and if one had ick then theres a good chance the rest got it. when you have bad cases of ick its best to do half water change, then use the ick out, then next day repeat. keep doing that for a few days then you can stop the ickout, but not a bad idea to do another water change. also, what kind of water did you use? if its straight from the tap didnt you use any chem to get rid of the chlorine? thatll help get the water where it needs to be faster.
need to get some pictures of the tank i set up at work when i started, the fish are healthy and gettin’ big!
^ Nice tank, those all look very healthy.
