You dont change your water at all? The nitrate levels are probably off the charts on that tank lol. You may want to do that, b/c out of nowhere a tank will decline!

i have checked the levels randomly and they arent that bad( always in the color range they are supposed to be in) i just always add water(~gallon every 2 weeks maybe) which i think balances it out… but there was only 5 fish in the tank all approx. 1-1.5" long and its a 30 gal tank. now there is 8 fish so once the levels start to climb i think ill attempt to change the water

These things were huge. Only 4 of them fit in the tank and there was barely enough room for them in it.

well after listening to my kids whine for a while about wanting a fish tank and so on i bought them one
its a 30 gal tank i bought the heaters ,filters o2 pump and so on for the tank along with numerous little figuerenes and shit for deco ,now my question is what kind of fish are good for beginers and so on ? im not lookin into doin a saltwater setup just a freshwater deal like i said i have the heaters for the tank and stuff ,my son likes the colorfull b-s fish and stuff whats good and whats not as far as fish go and tank setup .

I would have sold you a complete 39 gallon setup thats brand new for $50…sitting in my closet.

I change the water every sunday in my 125 gallon,…half water changes. ITS A BITCH!

lololol ,i guess this is what i get for not askin beforehand .i bought the stand ,tank ,rocks and so for about 200 and change .im lettin the tank run prolly till next weekend and go some fish for my son keep the ideas goin im likn this lololol, ill let my son look at the pics ya guys posted and see what he like s

Bro seriously package that all back up and return it. Ill sell you a 20G with lid, light, heater and even some gravel for $25! All youll need is a good filter that will cost around $40, and I can help ya with that too if ya want. Lemme know man!

Yup, I got a 30G thanks to Ray and now the 20 isnt being used. Like I said it needs a good HOB filter and youre all set!
