go to davey jones locker right near the pepsi in albany. Thats where I got mine and last weekend they had one…its a florida gar.
they are badass. They breath air. Every 5 minutes they come up to the top, take a gulp of air then go back down and they have nastyyyy teeth.
I got a ~5" needlenose gar for my 30G tank, and my wolf fish got along with it all day, then night time came… Needless to say the gar is gone lol. I wanna try to get something bigger and hopefully he’ll leave it alone.

needle nose “gars” arent actually gars. They are needle nose fish. They are full grown at 12" IF they ever reach that. I had one for a year.
The Florida gars at davey jones locker are a minimum of 10". They are pretty big…their $40 but as long as you take care of them right, they will live longer then us lol
