I’m planning going conversion over winter and found set off wide body duraflex 20mm fender. I know there made of fiberglass but just wondering how the fit and quailty of these fenders are.
i dont see why that would matter that much. you’re fenders are not supposed to sustain impact, like a bumper or lip… if you get into a situation where you need strength and flex chances are the difference between regular fibreglass and duraflex wont matter.
Bings right. i bought a set a few yrs back, fitment was nice. little adjusting and minor drilling but over all i was happy yet again my standards are pretty low haha
not sure about fenders but i’ve worked with a duraflex bumper(fascia). I don’t see why they don’t just start making them with paper cause thats the kinda structural integrity they provide lol. But seriously, as long as it doesn’t get touched by your tire or anything else it should be just fine. Very flexible stuff and really easy to work with cause its very forgiving to bending, just don’t poke it too hard or you’ll have brand new DIY vents.
Hope that helps.
where the heck you guys get duraflex from. ebay? state? anyone in ontario sells them?
duraflex is what extreme dimensions calls their material. you can buy ED from andysautosport.com in the states or extremeparts.ca in north york.
Extreme has some ugly stuff for s14 thou
