The faceplates were new but he didn’t want to spend the $$$ on replacing all the original outlets. Really “cheapens” the look of the finished product. I’m just glad they walked away from the black backsplash. I’m seriously hoping they do some painting in there.

Now all you need is the polymer concrete and colorants.
So now that I have my “GarageMahal” in decent working order, I’m able to work in these with a little more efficiency than I could with my old shop. I’m doing a couple this week and would be interested in doing some more, but only as a “new” countertop application. The on site re-surfacing simply doesn’t make sense for me with what I’ve got going on right now. Let me know if anyone has any interest.
