First person account of the accident:

well, since there seems to be a bit of misinfoormation here concerning the accident, I suppose ill chime in, since we got the worst of it.

Some shithead on a ZX14 was driving like a complete dipshit the entire way up 93. Passing people on the breakdown lane doing 120+, weaving in and out of cars in a wreckless manner, so on and so forth. From what i was told by someone who saw the whole thing, the guy tried to shoot a gap between a car and the f350. The gap ended up closing and the guy on the bike swerved and started to lose controll into the f350. He bailed off the bike and the bike went under the truck and the guy rolled the other direction. The bike went under the trucks rear axle and spit it out the back. Everyone slammed on the brakes, and swerved to avoid debris and such. An Integra was able to stop, then a TC stopped just feet short of the Integra, and then my girlfriend couldnt stop in time. We plowed into the TC at probly 30-40mph, and then pushed the TC into the Integra.

I was facing the wrong way hanging out the window taking pictures when it happened. I took the full force of the airbag to the back, and ruined my knee against the door. Needless to say I feel like shit today. Luckily my girlfriend is alright, just upset. Kids in the TC were ok, and the guys in the truck were good too. The kid in the Integra got out, picked up thier rear bumper and then left, dont really know why.

MK6 is totalled. im almost sure of it.

the TC might be fixable, but who knows. could be alot of damage I didnt see.

the f350 is gonna need new shocks in the rear cause the bike twisted and bent them, as well as a new trailer hitch. They still finished the cruise however, fucking kids were awesome.

the Integra, didnt seem all that bad. He also finished the cruise.

the bike? dont care. faggot got what he deserved. Hope he liked that ride on the backboard.

Sucks about the accident but are people really that stupid to have all those cars just randomly stopped on the highway? That and all the people just walking around the middle of the road is just asking for a much bigger accident. I couldn’t believe all the cars just randomly stopped in the middle of the f’ing road.

They didn’t just randomly stopped. There was an accident and they were pushing the Golf out of the road so traffic could get through.

So the asshole that was ‘hanging out of the window backwards’ taking pics got hurt far worse than the driver that was properly secured in the vehicle? Imagine that.

If you look at all the cars, they only left one lane open for other vehicles to get through. All of the other lanes were completely blocked by cars that just randomly stopped and got out. Pushing the Golf was only a small part of it.

I wonder what the police report on that would look like, since technically only the truck and the bike were involved in the actual accident, the rest was caused by the dude’s girlfriend who plowed into stopped cars probably because she was following to closely and/or not paying attention.

Looking at the majority of the cars involved, I can assume the kind of asshole driving that was being done on this cruise, not just the bike. Following too close, ‘hella’ lane switching, etc etc. And yeah, everyone stopping to rubber neck was not needed. Move on, meet up elsewhere and discuss your failure of a cruise.

just a reminder to all of you that might consider going on a cruise up there the state of new Hampshire doesn’t require motorists to carry insurance on there vehicles so if you get in an accident where its someone elses fault you will have to jump threw hoops to get your shit fixed and belive me I know all about it I still havent been paid and its three years later

You mean they only need liability, but not property damage? This is the info I got regarding NH motorcycle insurance:
