ATE brake fluid locally? ATE vs. Wilwood?

Bought a car the other day, need to bleed the clutch, I’ll do the brakes at the same time.

Called K&S, they carry the Wilwood fluid, couldn’t hear the guy well enough to tell if it was EXP or 570

Reading internet reviews it looks fine compared to ATE gold or whatever everyone is using nowadays.

Just making sure either the Wilwood fluid is fine or to see if ATE is available here. Don’t need to bleed my brakes more than twice this year unless I have to

I always ran ATE SuperBlue, in fact, I still have some laying around if you want. Let me know homie.

i run wilwood EXP 600 in the race car. i get it from Bicknell in niagara falls. i used to run ATE superblue also and noticed no decrease in performance after doing 2 full track day weekends

ATE is garbage for race cars, and turns acidic if it does boil. For a non tracked car it’s fine. Motul RBF 600 is a good high temp fluid. If it’s not a race car, I’d go with an off the shelf fluid that will be less hygroscopic.

what Harvey said… I use off the shelf dot 5 from walmart in my corvette. I don’t even think it’s possible to boil this when used for a clutch.
