:nono:

it only works as good as your determination

i dropped 60 lbs in highschool, so i know that its hard

should sticky this a “pittspeed diet thread”

thirst is a sign that you are ALREADY dehydrated! water is what your body is actually craving! if you drink enough water it does QUENCH your thirst!

most people crave the carbonation in pop because it clears your mouth of other flavors!

water is a great diet aid because you lose a few pounds of water weight by ADDING more water to your diet because when you body goes into dehydration mode it will retain more water than it normally needs to so in turn you look bloated and have extra water weight!

and like chad said it can be a great filler before you eat meals! as most of you know your body takes approx. 15 minutes to realize its full but by then most people have already eaten double what they needed to consume!

yea my buddy (deadeyehatch’s brother) lost 80 some pounds in like 4 months but its because he never ate but he is skinny as hell now.

i lost 15 lbs real easy:D only bad thing is putting on weight.

i can bet that the majority of the weight he lost was muscle.

yup.

weight is nothing to be concerned with, its bodyfat percentage

muscle or not he’s skinny now if i could lose 80 lbs i wouldnt mind if some of it was muscle but if i lost that much id look funn im aiming for the 200-210 range

true the body eats muscle before fat when you just starve it.

if i could only gain 50lbs id be happy

lifting helps when you are losing cause not only are you burning fat, you are turning it into muscle

MUSLCE NEVER TURNS TO FAT OR VICE VERSA

most people that use weight training as an aid to lose fat dont see great results because most look at their weight! muscle of course weighs alot more than fat. youll see a better body but not a signifigant amount of weight lost! dont look at poundage! look at body mass index or bodyfat percentage!

thats what i said above!

if you havent lifted in a year no doubt you lost size but your body hasnt forgot how to be that strong! you will gain that size and strength back in a few months! its called muscle memory;)
