Turning away from cars… I am not sure I agree with this statement at all. More car events have been planned then ever before. Some technical discussion is not there every day but I still learn and interests have broadened. Nick is doing a great job at trying to organize local gathers it hang out and meet new members. Pittspeed has grown tremendously in the past year mainly with young people. The tech discussion might not be there today, but it is all in the grand progression. People are friends on pittspeed, BS is definitely going to occur.
Mods and Admins… They have a tough job, BeRad and Pewter are probably the fore runner in make sure everything gets ok. We walk a fine line though, when is enough enough and how much bitching will occur if someone is banned. Its a very tough job, and my hat goes off to these guys. I wish I could clone Brian and Brad! Other mods are starting to step up, and I am constantly looking for more good people to help out. Its just hard to find the right person.
Quik was right if he was talking about modding posts. Brian does a spectcacular job at this! There is alot of stuff going on in the backend that requires a shit load of work. The site gets more traffic then ever, and have you seen a disruption? I work pretty hard making sure everything works properly on the backend. Starboy is working on new shirt designs, new stickers and an overall new look of the layout. We are working on more promotional material to help promote pittspeed and all of the advertisers.

admins might have a “tough job” but mods really dont, i see it a hundred times on here when threads are posted in wrong sections, or ppl are getting out of hand, and nothing is done. just look at what me and sleeper just did these past 2 days, and nothing has happened at all to us, after breaking the rules about a couple of things. Personally i dont see other mods steping up at all really. several times i could have been banned, but nobody wanted to do it. or recently i have seen others that hsould have been banned, but it wont happen. soo to say they have a hard job, idk, maybe if this was tech they would where they have over a 1000 active members. and hundreds of post a day.

no i dont care about meets, i know where ill always find ppl that i hang out with. my whole point to this thread, was how it seems like anybody can get away with anything and nothign will get done at all. i have never asked for you to help Organize anything at all. if a group of us meet up we do, we dont need help. and not being a dick towards you, but the meets that are sometimes set up, fall threw compeletly, the last BBQ’s, the last Dyno day, they kinda just fell threw, not everybody showed up at dyno day, more ppl should have, it was acutally a decent time there.
