The problem is that we are here and there is a truth to how and why we were created. There is one right answer and countless wrong answers to this question.

You find it easier to believe that somehow someway stuff just existed and it somehow meshed together just right to make the universe and life.

How is it easier to believe that physical matter somehow came to be from nothing and just happend to make you and I, than to believe that God created everything.

To believe in science and evolution you have to conveniently ignore the fact that the matter to build this universe came from somewhere. It’s easy to just think that is was just here.

It amazes me that it is so easy for people to believe in psychics, ghosts, aliens, curses, voodoo and many other things but the idea that there is a God that created everything is just way out there.

I am impressed.

darkstar the bible is considered a primary source by most major universities as well as historian so I would tend to say it is legit. source

My Crayon Book could pass a literary/religion/prophecy tool that I used in Kindergarten.

we will never know where the stars and galaxies came from.

all i can talk about is this planet. whats been found on this planet and whats here now. evolution is here, i can watch evolution, i can go out an dig up evolution. can i go out and look at god? can i go out and dig him up?

do i beleive there is a higher being… yes. do i think its name is god yes. will i conform to one strict religion and call myself a methodist, a catholic. No i wont. I dont like what standardized religion stands for.

As for teh bible. some parts of it may be true, but the more and more you hear from religious groups the more and more it sounds like a propaganda tool.

i don’t believe in any of the aforementioned either.

The kinds of people who believe in all that nutty shit you listed generally are not atheists. Not even close.

I find religion to be a crutch for things which we have no explanations. I believe in the lack of needing to believe. I can’t say with 100% certainty that there isn’t a god, but I can’t say that there is one either. I think it’s irrelevant.

:wtf:

no one takes the bible verbatim as factual…except nut cases. even devout christians explain that some sections use hyperbole to make a point…

ehhh lock down, who cares.

one fucking thing i hate.

it’s spelled RIDICULOUS
