Just like the mafia…wouldn’t wanna see anything happen to you Saudi’s…this can be a bad neighborhood. Now hand over 20%. :mrT:

this thread is worthless and needs hot chicks:embarassd
you have such an omnicient view on shit it’s hard to even talk to you realistically… why compare to wars? becuase it’s a war… what do you want to compare it to, natural disasters? how about that indian sunami? nicaraguan and indian earthquakes come to mind… over 2000 dead… it wasn’t for shock value? then why bring it up? has any war been fought wtih no casualties?.. just or unjust in darkstars world > reality.
2000 sucks… just like 9/11 where 1000 more died in a matter of hours… innocent americans on american soil… 2001 a lot of people were gung ho about war… regardless of where it is today… it’s not a lightswitch to be on and off at command.
yeah, added in… shit costs money… i do care the US is in debt…just like i care when the steelers lose, or when it rains on saturday… yet i have no control over it.
if you care so much about the debt and taxes, what are you doing about it? what can you do? bitch about it to people on the internet? where have i been misguided to the point of not ‘caring’ about debt and taxes… what actions should i be taking?
this is a beat argument… not even fun really.
two different wars.
you’re deluding yourself if you believe otherwise.
comparing the war in iraq is about as relevant as comparing it to any of those things you listed. Vietnam was fought in a jungle hand to hand guerilla style in not nearly as technologically advanced times. we’ve come a long way since Vietnam. There will never (short of WWIII or a nuclear/biological war) be another war with that kind of casualties. I know that you know 2000 sucks, but where we differ is that I believe their lives were callusoly wasted on a pointless, unjust war. They died in vain. You dont think so, therefore the knowledge of their deaths is deemed a worthwhile expense in your mind.

why do you mention 9/11 and Iraq in the same sentence as though they are at ALL related? If you want to be blowing somoene up because of terrorists and 9/11 then we should be attacking Saudi Arabia right now.

Bush is spending money like Paris Hilton on coke, and he’s putting it all on the card. Try supporting a canidate who is actually fiscally responsible. (hint: you’d have to look beyond the big two).
Howard Dean could do it.
/\ a men brother
only page 5 doesnt suck now thanks to you
:sadwavey:
please don’t tell me what i think… regardless of just or unjust, i don’t support death… i’m not some american hating asshole

you and your boy blanyer are ‘deluted’ if you think they aren’t intertwined.

i’d support larry elder all day, doubt we’d have a black libertarian as a president though… so waht the point…?
for the most part the margin of error will not exceed 5%. I don’t see how this still makes ‘all polls flawed.’ It simply calculates the amount of error due to sample size (decreasing to 0 once the whole population is sampled). However, due to samples and z-scores you can get a realistic sample with a 95% confidence level with a smaller sample size than 95%. Your feelings for polls being flawed is not due to statistical errors, but rather your lack of any knowledge of statistics.
i have yet to see anyone quote a tv poll and claim it as truth in this thread. The poll that i quoted was a gallup poll, which is one of the (if not the most) respected polling organization in the world. I am not arguing for or against the presidents approval rating, I am just mearly trying to tell you guys that these polls are legit. However, until you actually take some effort to move past your 7th grade pre-algebra levels and learn some statistics you will never realize that the arguments you pose are the most illogical, idiotic ideas that sound like they’re being spewed by someone with no sense of what they’re talking about.
You know what asshole, I never said in this thread only so shut the fuck up already. Information is altered ALL the time and for you to think that sampling 1000, 10000, or even 100,000 is really acturate with only a max of 5% in a population of almost 300 million, is just plain idiotic.

:ugh: We went to war because of WMD’s and nukes. nothing to do with 9/11. Of course, we now know there were no WMD’s… so…
