I’m going to be getting an awd quad in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone here knows of any ATV clubs or places where there are trails setup for ATV riders. Thanks in advance…
good luck with that.
NO where in wny is it legal to ride atvs unless its on your own private property. or you have a signed letter of permission from a landowner.
ATV’s are rough on trails that require tons of maintanance.
<-- grew up in the southtowns w/plenty of atvs.
the closest place i belive there is actually ATV trailheads is allegany state park.
you need to have your quad registerd & insured to ride down there.
Atv trails are a lot like roll racing, its only legal if you dont get caught.
Theres tons of snowmobile trails that atv’s ride on to piss off sled riders & trail owners.
Just dont do it.
You’re going to want to look for private land, and know someone. A coworker is big into his Raptor. Mostly for summer stuff but he plays in winter too. He pirates a snowmobilers trail (and they get pissed) in Clarence.
FWIW google says

Fuck that, I ride every weekend and never get in trouble. Just dont do stupid shit and you wont get in trouble. I ride at tift and at the rock quarry. I also ride at my friends land out in arcade. If you want to ride somewhere that has a shit load of trails and is cheap I would suggest Majestic trails in PA.
I used to ride all the time, but the house seems to be eating all my time.
Tift had some decent tracks & the Po po never used to harrass you. but that was a few years ago.
I go to marienville pa their state trail system is the bomb its in the allegany state forest google atv PA allegany forest. some of the best riding/dice runs ended years ago in salamanca they were awesome theres also copperridgetrails.com near olean

Majestic is HOTT, not to far. I like riding here 5 stars out of 5
Copper ridge is rough, not for first time riders, 3 stars out of 5.
i ride all the time, dont be a ass when your near houses yo dont know and show some respect to land onwers and if you caught use the im lost line, always regester and insure, they will impound your stuff and just use the BS line you stoled it… its fun but its pretty easy to run
i ride all the time with my buddies the tracks take you everywhere and we cleared some trails in the woods by my house which lead to the tracks and in winter if theres at least 4 in of fresh snow im out on the streets run if need be lol
I went out to Lockport a couple of weeks ago and Tri County Trail riders has some trails setup there. It was pretty good riding. Some deserted rail road tracks, wooded trails, and some really good mudding areas. We saw about 10 other riders out there as well. We went with someone who has a Trailpass. Apparently you are suppose to sign for a yearly membership to use these trails. More info here > http://www.trailpass.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=105&Itemid=46
