So the car was parked for the winter, with a dead battery and a crapped out alternator. Well it was parked the day the alternator blew out.
Finally on the road after fixing her up. The Sub doesn’t seem to work for some odd reason. The amp attached to the box, seems to turn on and has power.
Any ideas as to what might be happening? Anything I am overlooking and stuff.
check resistance between the terminal on the sub and the cone of the sub… if its not close to the resistance of the sub either of the terminals voicecoil is dead. like say the resistance suppose to be 4 ohms and its 16 ohms or keeps jumping around the voice coil is dead
