ok for some reason two days ago my subs started to cutt out i cant seem to figurer out why i changed the wires and stuff my fuses are still good so im lost. any help would be greatfull.

Does your car drop idle or lose any power?

What amp do you have?
its ok i fixed it my subs jsut couldnt handle my amp lol i was pushing it too much i had to re tune it. i still thikn i need a CApacitor lol does anyone have one.
Your amp was kicking it out when it got too hot… I figured as much…
The cap will regulate the flow, just run your amp a little lower…
its a saftey feature for your amp…i would asume your underpowering subs and ur amps working too hard…have u checked how youve wired your subs and how many Ohms? how many ohms the amps rated at? did you bridge your amp to squeeze that extra power out of it so ur subs thump real hard? doing that works but it overheats and burns out the amp quicker. Turn your amp down like TM said. Also how is your amp mounted? My old system overheated because the amp was on the side of a box…when i moved it ontop it cooled better(hot air rises theory)
amp overheat protection ? happene when a spongebob humped on my amp on the way back frmo wonderland lol
Just FYI, Do not underpower your subs
It will kill them
i messed around with it and now it dosent work lol nothing is burnt out thats for sure. who wants to help me tune it
