I’m watching Worlds scariest (insert something) videos… and they just showed a shock car race from australia…
Do they turn left… NOPE… they turn right… I’ve always wondered if they are opposite.
Makes sense since the driver sits on the opposite side.

For road racing we (Americans) turn right. That is because the sport originated in England/Europe. So we carried on that tradition.
However, in this case there is no crossing of the equator. I can only assume that due to the Coriolis Effect if NASCAR ever ran left turns in Austrailia it could have devestating effects on the Earth’s rotation and possibly knock it off it’s axis or cause the poles to reverse.
I forgot about the coriolis effect it’s all clear to me now.
