why is a auto ecu an upgrade for the 5sp thanks
it isn’t…only thing it doesn’t have is a rev limiter. I would recommend keeping your manual ecu for the limiter.

the auto ecu has different fuel maps slightly… and it doesn’t remove the limiter it just raises it 200 rpm.
I’m running my car on auto ecu right now sine i can’t find my manual one. It revs to over 7500 which I’ve found out many times while beating on it and i’ve noticed no difference in performace using the auto ecu.
Where is the basis of different fuel maps from? I’m in no means attacking, just curious. Have you been diping into the EProm stuff?
