how do you get the trans cable unplugged from the transmission. i took off the cover and there is a 10mm bolt thats has like a piece of metal that covers two sides of the bolt and you can’t get a socket/wrench around the bolt. i’m about 5 minutes from cutting it and telling mom shes gonna be driving a 5 speed
try using a screw driver to just pop it off. a lot of cables just pop right off.
bend the tabs flat and unscrew it
