Basically i lol’d the clutch on my BMW by doing 2 things
-
let my mother drive it, she rode the clutch on an incline in traffic.
-
sent it home last night drag racing, it slips like a mother fucker.
is Changing the clutch out in this car any more difficult than any other? I’ve done 3 RWD cars so far without a problem.
I’m assuming the transfer case will be the only extra obstacle.
the transfer case, the front axles, front diff, front drive shaft. other then that exactly like a rwd.

I have access to a lift and a 3 day weekend… But I honestly don’t feel like doing it myself.
Maybe this is a sign to buy a race clutch and remove that hydraulic valve this car has
you just bought this car i think? this sucks

It was the original clutch on a 185k mile car. There are maintenance records inside the glove box. Last time it was checked was 97k
damn i didnt realize it was that old, this is a good time to fix a lot of shit
I am still leaning toward this one lol ^
