Aww what now?

So I did a 3rd gear pull on Whitemud just before turning off, pulled nice and strong. As I’m coasting down the off ramp my tach starts kinda jumping around. Once I start moving again the car bucks and pops on boost. Didn’t hear any pops before this started happening (like if an IC pipe came apart), MAF is connected, and IC piping looks intact.

What the hell could this be? Other than the problem I described the car idles and runs fine. I’m going to check the IC piping again later.

Boost leak.

Same thing happend to me. it stumbles once it hits boost. check them carefully

Turns out the “on-boost” bucking had nothing to do with boost. It wouldn’t rev past 3k. Cam angle sensor clip was coming loose. :clap

Yup, that would do it. When i was washing my engine bay, i unplugged that to put a baggy around the cover and then forgot to plug it back in. Did the same thing.

Glad you found the problem.

Son of a bitch the 3rd gear pull again. Coming back into town from Sherwood Park, third gear pull, 6000rpm engine just dies. Coast to a stop, just cranks and cranks, open the hood, pop the cam angle sensor back on, fires right up.

Son of a bitch that scared me. :drinkers:
