B20Vtec: Running Extremely Rich..Now Doesnt Crank.

I dont know what could be wrong.
here is what happened…
Car is a 1992 Acura Integra originally a automatic with a 5 spd swap and b20vtec. has 255lph fuel pump and aem fuel rail.
I started the car noticed that something wasnt right when the car was running. it feel like it was runing on 3 cylinder, like a continuous popping like every millisec.
Spark plugs were changed.
when you put you stand behind the car and smell it it straight fuel spraying out the muffler. when you put your hand over the muffler your hand is covered in gas.
I check to see if there could of been some water in the distrubutor as that what happened in my honda civic. but there was no nothng
So i put the distrubutor together. and get in to try to start it, it cranks and then POP! once and dies.
ever since the car does not even crank over.

What can be wrong?

Couple things i would do, double check that is has stock injectors, pull plugs see that there isnt excessive fuel in cylinders, maybe another ecu. Its a starting point, o and double check firing order so many ppl over look it.

sounds like some not so good timing…

MAP sensor?

Yes if the things i said seem to check out check to make sure all your timing is right.

sounds like ignitor failure to me. borrow another dizzy and see if it helps.

My del sol I had a few years ago was running super rich, tons of gasy black smoke and it was the map and the tps sensor. Just something to check. Is it throwing codes? Does sound like the ignition though like john said.

you fucker…beat me to it…
I second ignitor failure. New dizzy FTW.

x3 ignitor failure.

less likely:
timing belt jumped
stuck injector

the car did run just second before the car wouldnt crank over anymore.

would the faulty dizzy make it not even crank over? or run extremely rich?
when i turn the key to the start position…absolutely nothing happens lol.

It does have stock injectors
I was thinking the injector might also be stuck open but then again why wouldnt it crank over even if the stuck open.

ckeck your main relay and fuses. will the car bump start?

what is ignition failure? how would i correct that?

this is what my car is doing as well

X2 check your main relay

Map sensor, loose Thermostat ground, i believe the ignitor is least likely. Usually when they start to go, the tach bounces around like crazy, and the car quits running soon after. But srsly, check the thermostat ground

get your starter checked out, or swap in another one, there are a few people on here with them

and make sure the connection on the right side of the starter coming from the rubber grommet is hitting the terminal inside the starter, they should slide into one another
