is it pitted/scarred anywhere?
and what type of oil will your be runing?

Worst case if you run it you will end up replacing the cam and the rocker int he future. As long as it hasn’t lost alot of significant material.

Significant can be as little as a few thou.

if by pitted/scarred u mean like a chunk missing, then no, its not deep at all it just feels ruff. and what type of should i be running?

just smooth it out carefully. be gentle with it. lube her up good when you put it in. and use good oil. you’ll be fine.

I wouldn’t touch it with sand paper. My monitor sucks but looks like it may need a micro polish. I would specualte if the engine was running abit dry of oil…
