Badass Auto Pictures Thread*

yea, same here

I rock Steelies!
Steelies >BBS

He said BBS’s, not replicas lol.

he’s rocking his stock wheels right now

ronal aristos!

BBS ;D

haha, those are in the garage atm. im on the RC’s

I knew those covers would draw some attention and get the :wtf…those are in fact covers over the rear wheels. At the time those photos were taken there were some prototype extractor street wheels on the back of the car and not on the front and they did that to "balance the car for the photo shoot. Extractor wheels are an aerodynamic feature from early GTP days and some new formula cars that literally extract air from underneath the car at designated speeds to create a low pressure effect under the car. This effect increases down force without the need from a large drag inducting wing on the back of the car(note in those pictures there’s just a small duck tail). Very methodical and precise way to get down force on a car aiming for top speed.

Here’s a picture of Extractor wheels on a Porsche 962:

Here’s some pics of the car with the prototype street version of the wheels on the car before the shoot:

who cares, the car’s fuckin hella ghey

BBS wheels = PROPER! :bowdown

is there a video of this 254mph?

I’m sure somewhere some one has a video. Article on the car was just released in Excellence last issue.

Just type in 9ff GT9 on youtube

im gonna check it out, it looks/sounds great but the veyron is really proper, i dont like how they left the back all open and shit like

SSC Aero beats Porsche by alleged 3mph

American built ftw!

Yea there was a big debacle about this car but apparently since the car is produced as the SSC Aero, where the uber fast TT is merly a separate power option and not how the car normally rolls off the “assembly line”, it doesn’t count as the worlds fastset production car. Fastest road car but not production car. Same crap happened when the Konigseg came out and offered the CCR version later on. Production meaning as is as the car rolls off the in final configuration with no power options so to say. GT9 is what it is. Aero can be bought as the base Aero or Aero TT, even though they’re only supposed to make 25 or something like that.

That car is sickening though in a straight line. Supposed ot be aerodynamically stable to 273mph or something. I’d love to see what one could possibly do around a course though. Bring that bish to say Road Atlanta and stretch her legs a bit around some apexes ;D

lots of win in that pic. :wow

i LOVE flat black paint
