Balance my tires?

it’s either mounted on the machine wrong or the damn machine at least needs recalibrated. /thread.

if it were the tire you’d never get the initial ok reading or it would only come out of balance after driving.

Well maybe I’ll go to another one of my stores and get them balanced later today

try calibrating the fucking machine and do your customers a favor.

actually… take a pic of how it’s mounted for me and post it. i’d like to see the adapter being used too. i’m sure this can be figured out without a trip to another store.

Idk how. I’ll have to have the company send someone to do it

what kinda machine is it? Do you have the calibration weight for it?

It’s a coats. No I don’t have the calibration weight. Usually they send someone from coats to fix them. But I wanted to get mine balanced somewhere else to actually make sure it is the balancer and not my tires or my wheels

i don’t have a lift available but i’ll throw em on the balancer tonight if you want.

Well I’m gonna try my old store in a lil bit and see what happens. Thanks tho

Make sure all contact areas are clean , wheel mounting flange is clean etc is clean and cone is clean . And lube the fucking flanges lol . Are the wheels fully aired up ? It’s not to uncommon to balance a tire and drive drive a ways and have it need a small amount of weight . But if its calling for weight. When all u do is spin tire on balancer the calibration is fucked , the wheel isn’t centered right , no wonder why we always have mavis / tire warehouse / ask mart customers in for a rebalance lol

:rofl :rofl :rofl

Come on now. I’ve mounted and balanced tons of tires for people on here. I’ve never had a problem before. I did both sets of tires for my Trailblazer, I did the 35 series tires on my S2000, I even balanced the shitty nittos on my Dodge Ram. I absolutely know how to do it.
I’ve recently switched to a different store. So it very well could be the balancer. Or I could have a bad batch of tires. I’ve never had a problem like this before

or mount an atv tire all the way on the wheel. My brother took his atv wheels there and they didnt even put the bead all the way on the wheel to the lip.

Ok dumb question, a rim isn’t slightly bent?

Well we don’t do ATV stuff. So if it wasn’t done right, your brother should have brought it to an ATV place in the first place.

This is unrelated to the thread topic. And I don’t clutter up your threads with bullshit. Sooooo :gtfo.

Mods please delete off topic posts.

Nah, rims are brand new. I think it’s the tires now. I brought the car to A different store and it’s better, but I still feel a vibration.
And a friend of mine has the same tires and he says his are never balanced. So I’m gonna try to get a new set.

Balance should clear up any issue. I used to get awful rims where id load the bitch up with weights lol. It’d eventually balance…

I’ve had a ton of shitty tires that balance ok but shake. The hunter road force balancers do work wonders if you can match the rim and tire. Usually you can see the out of round in it when it spins on the balancer.

I have also noticed that some tires do not get along with certain cars/trucks, from wearing unevenly to shitty road feel or shake.

Shifted belt.
