aftermarket warrantys suck they are always closed. Then when you get someone he is either autistic or foriegn. sucks man. good luck with everything. what is the deductable on the warranty. Did they do the plugs and wires?
basil chevy on transit is no better. they wouldnt do a $200 warranty repair on a $40,000 p/u that was paid in full. it had 300 miles on it picked it up w/ 267 miles on it. gillogly chevrolet fixed it no problem. 5 years 100,000 mile warranty? this was 33 miles and they declined it.
It really makes sense as a dealer to keep your local automotive enthusiasts happy, especially in a smaller community like WNY. How many of your friends/family/co-workers know you as a “car person”? All those people tend to come to you for advice about car buying/repair and if you have a negative opinion about a specific dealer it can really carry a lot of weight.
I know for a fact I have personally cost Culligan 5 new car sales and probably 3 times that in service jobs since they pissed me off over some simple warranty work on the GTO.
lol what bullshit…so apparently warranties can only be used certain days? that’s such crap…shoulda refused to pay a cent…you have a warranty that covers is, they can’t tell you when it is or isn’t good (except for obviously if your past the mileage/time the warranty covers).
