Oh no, it totally ruined my day I’m going to cut myself now!
But honestly, I don’t get why bitter/grumpy people seem to think this will make their day better. Granted I’d probably be pissed and grumpy all the time too if I was upside down on a loan for a base-model Monte Carlo. It just made me smile for some reason when he did it, totally made my day 100% better.
Usually I will just catch-up to them and stare them down…
Or if I get cut off then they get my car up their ass, mixed with a ricer fly-by followed by a swift cutting off again (when the time is proper, none of this busy road BS)
Actually when i was 18 a guy was driving all over my bumper and I flipped him off. He then followed me to work and put a gun in my face. I don’t flip people off anymore.
kinda related… couple months ago going to work it was dark and foggy out, and this guy is driving around without his lights on (kind of a pet peeve of mine) and just “randomly” appears from the fog, so i flick my lights to him, and while driving gangster style and on his cell phone, he proceeds to flip me off. lol amazing
Giving the finger does nothing, because as stated the other person is never wrong.
I prefer to give them the good ole brake check if they are on my ass. Or if they cut me off I usually just give it back to them only better.
Its more fun to watch their face when they think they’re about to be in a accident than give them the finger.
Yeah I admit, I waited about 5 seconds after looking to switch lanes. Dude was pulling out into the lane I was going, I didn’t see him, and next thing I knew I have a POS escort filling my rear view mirror. The dude slams on his horn for a good 5 seconds and proceeds to show me his middle finger for another 5, trying to stick his hand THROUGH his wnidshield.
Yeah sorry dude…I’m sure he felt really great after that, the entire drive down sheridan, especially after I let him pull next to me and gestured an apology. More than I would get usually.
Yeah it was probably the first time I accidentally did that in years.
As far as throwing the finger. Naaa, I don’t get upset anymore. Come on into my lane and I’ll just move over, or slow down, and laugh.
I’ve ridden motorcycles for 10 years. I stopped getting pissed off shortly after I started riding. I’ve been cut off and had close calls countless times. I don’t flip the bird or honk.
People make mistakes, showing them your finger just makes you look like an ass too.
