Continuously impressive, for what it is.
Yeah I wasn’t about to do it all through the wheel well haha. Sitting at Scruggs waiting for another alignment as we speak. Also should be getting an exhaust this week as this guy showed up:
Brand exhaust? I had a Thermal R&D.
make sure while your under the car with the exhaust, you throw a couple extra screws in the heat sheild from the mid point of the car to the rear axle. the rivots always rust out and the sheild drops on the exhaust and makes noise. we just put small self tapers back into the bottom of the car to hold it up
It’s an obx which is a thermal knockoff. Stupid me had a used twin too thermal and sold it. And almost all of my heat shields are gone at this point, been dealing with those as they fall haha.
Deff one of a kind!
Well it’s in ugly practical mode now because of a change at work I need to drive places, and my 50 miles or so of driving every day is not good for -3.8 degrees of camber. Picking up some Borbet BS’s tomorrow from a buddy then ordering tires, should be a fun setup with the coilovers and rear sway. Rockin the snows for the time being.
Well it’s been a while, but I got a list of things accomplished and if my alignment goes well today it should be all set for a while.
Wheels done
Racelands on
New tires on
Cleaned!
The new wheels look good, I liked the lip on the old ones better though. But obviously driving more, it has to be practical.
Precisely. I feel more comfortable on these considering they are a decent good wheel too. All I need to do for now is work out the motor/trans mount spacers to raise the drivetrain to get rid of the axle shimmy. Can’t wait to enjoy driving it again after so long of being in progress.
Also made some headway on the inside, finally got the double din to fit, Tiburon seats are in and clean, and all the LEDs are sorted out as well.
Been a while since I’ve been here, but here’s some more recent shots.
And as it sits currenty in my driveway
Where is the second shot from?
H2o
Replaced the rotted bumper mount and finished off the blue LEDs in the dash
Did some e30 things with a buddy from school
I like the led’s. I want to do red on mine.
Yeah I had red before but wanted to match the cluster
I got a few things done the other day when it was strangely warm.
Trailing arms all painted. Pretty impressed with the Implement paint I’ve been using.
Tried some wrinkle paint on the gauge bezel
And got a chance to clean out the inside after a month of DD’ing in the freezing cold
Also this will coming my way- trans mount spacer done right.
Looking good dude I pass you occasionally in rushford lol
