Get some mothers and some steel wool for that bad boy.
Nice pick up!
meh, not too worried about it. cleaned up the crank/sprocket a little and thats about it.
put some whitewalls on since the replacement front wheel came. made a middle weight a bubble tire. its pretty close but clears!
I just bought a new roadie so now I can properly post in this thread lol. I was riding a walmart GMC denali before this.
Just a stock photo but it’s full carbon bike with shimano 105 groupo. I’ll get real pics when it arrives in 3-5 days.
^ nice bike.
Biking the Thousand Islands… Alexandria Bay and Clayton!
I’m looking for an entry level mountain bike, and trying to decide between these models. Felt Nine Trail, Kona Mahuna, Trek Marlin. Any advice or tips would be great. My intended use is trail riding along with around town. Thanks
Stock pic of my new one since my pics were mehhhhhh
Picked up a 2012 Felt DA4 Tri Bike. After two tri’s this year, I got the itch to do many more next year. Looking forward to a winter full of trainer sessions. (Not really looking forward)
Looks sweet mike
SIQ!

anyone have a set of mechanical disc brake rotors they’re looking to offload? need to upgrade my bike. Really looking for Avid BB7s, but will consider others.
I actually picked up a set of 2 BB7s on Ebay for the same price Berts wanted for 1 setup.
As for rotors. I’ve found cheap rotors on a few sites, I put them on for some downhill and didnt find any problems with the cheaper rotors. The brakes and pads themselves are one thing. IMO
did you get the ones shipped from China? I am hearing that they are supplying crap/fake brackets and screws with those rotors, which really turns me off. There is a guy selling full authentics for $95 shipped, though. I might go that route, but I put in a “best offer” of $85 hoping for a little discount.
Ended up getting a pair of bb7s off pinkbike.com for $70
Nice, I got mine in the states. I made sure that I selected North America when doing my search. I didnt want to deal with ching and chong.
As for the rotors, there was a site my friend told me about… found the rotors for like $8 and like $12 shipped or something around that.
yeah, good deal … this setup includes rotors so I’m all set for now. The wheels I got also have Tektro rotors on them so I have some backups.
Oh nice. yeah I had to order a second set due to buying a full road setup. I have my mountain biking rims/tires/rotor/cassette. I then got a really good deal on some rims, which I got another Cassette, rotor and this time slick/road tires for a mountain bike rim. Nice to have when changing up the riding.
picture of the my bike before the snow started flying. cant wait to cruise around more this summer.
did quite a bit to this pile actually, extended the fenders, put nice wheels with white walls on, made a housing with a caddy taillight, found a front rack with the truss rods to put back on, added a headlight, and stuck an antenna and fox tail hangin off the back like the old lead sleds  lol
^ Love it.
