Just wanted to let everyone know what a fantastic job Corey just did on my Cobra! Just recently I made an almost 1000 mile round trip to Maryland to get my car tuned and by the time I got home, between the many miles of driving, ET street rubber caked on my fender lips from all my tuning runs, and 5094608 bugs all over the car, the Cobra was a freakin mess inside and out. :meh:
Corey worked hard on the car all day long and now it looks phenomenal! No bugs/tar/rubber anywhere and the shine is probably better then the day i picked it up from the dealership! The paint is so slick everything just slide s off the hood Interior is flawless as well. Overall I would absolutely recommend getting your car detailed by Corey when the time comes!
He has some pics he snapped he can post up if he likes, but right now the car is so clean part of me wants to go out and show it off, the other part just wants to hide it in the garage under a car cover so that it stays so spotless forever
 to a nice guy that does great work! Thanks man!
What a fun detail! I really like white. Well, white is a hard color in that sure, it doesn’t show scratches much, but it sure doesn’t reflect much, either. So it’s a bit of a challenege to get to do…anything.
Mike’s car was dirrrrrrrrty. Buggggged. So I kept the front bumper really wet as I washed the rest of the car. This really helped loosen the bugs up. Then there was a bunch of rich-running love on the rear bumper. That wasn’t a huge problem. The top wasn’t dirty at all, but I washed it with convertible top cleaner just to make sure.
Anyway:
NXT wash
Dry
claymagic blue baaaarrrr
mother’s FX wheel cleaner/brush/microfiber mit
meguiars DACP (I tried a few polishes and this one was working the best today)
mezerna final polish II
jeff’s werkstatt prime
collinite insulator wax (on the wheels, too)
mother’s mag and aluminum polish on the exhaust tips
303 aerospace protectant on the tires/trim
invisible glass on the…glass
interior:
mixture of degreaser/bissel/water for general carpet
folex for tough stains, there weren’t many ( kmart by the bissel, dooo it!)
lexol cleaner and lexol conditioner on the regular leather (just a damp cloth for the suede)
303 for the interior plastics
quick detailer for the door jambs
invisible glass for the… glass
and then I went over the car with nanowax spraywax just to make sure that I got everything and make it pretties.
Thanks you. I think I started around 12:30 and didn’t finish until 7:30 or so. I took one 5 minute break to sit down and drink some water. Having the CR-V today helped. I really like that thing. Who would have thought it would be so fun to toss around on country roads. Oops.
Ummm…not to be a dick but cleaning up a nearly brand new car isn’t all that big of a deal. Car looks great and all but that’s nothing that couldn’t have been handled on your own with a sponge and some soap.
so i’m guessing mike got the full package? i remember when you first became a sponsor and reading the page, you have different package deals you offer…i assume this was the top of the line?
and when the hell are you gonna start doing engine bays damit!
