Pete your the one with the biggest mouth on this forum when it comes to knowing whats done to peoples cars. Your like the fucking plague.
i ask them politely whats done to it and they tell me, if they don’t wanna say no big deal…
don’t take it out on me that you’re a moron and spout off on what you are doing…

yea kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid
twin 35s WHAT
i can kind of understand why people like dyno numbers because it can be compared throughout the car world and weight/driver skill/displacement/gear ratios and all that don’t affect them, but still, for the actual speed of a car, trap speed>>>dyno numbahz

yah
but I was trapping 116 before
If I went and trapped 118 now, no ones going to be like “wow, that car picked up 30rwhp!”
so in this particular case, A dyno IMO is more accurate.
Alright to each his own, they both do the same thing, I prefer trap speedz

if you went and trapped 118, you can see real street improvement. tack numbers dont lie.

I kind of feel bad about it about keeping it on the down low having people think its a stock LS1…
the truth is, Its a 01 LS6…heres the story…
They went to go order the LS1 Long block. Right from GM they wanted 6k for it, and it would have taken a week to get there…Well, they did some more local searching and ended up finding a local long block that was in a ware house for a few years…well since it was there for a while, they sold the Long block for 3800.00…catch is, it was a left over LS6…NOT the 405 hp one, the 385hp rated one…The 01 LS6. John knew, Bret knew, and one of my other friends knew, but that is all. When I was getting gas today off exit 8, a northstar tech approached me and asked me how the new motor was running…I said very well, I already have over 400 miles on it…He said yah, you made out on one hell of a deal with a dealership covered LS6…At first, I was planning on never saying anything so I ground off the 243 numbers off the head to destroy the evidence about a week ago lol …The car only has the current old LS1 factory tune in it, so the motor has ALOT more in it, after a good dyno tune…that is all.
Thanks for playing
ok and you realize the 01 LS6 was rated at a whopping 385hp while the LS1 was rated at 350? …and actually the LS1 was under rated and the more accurate rating was 380hp for it.
So again, now that I am cammed and shit, the difference is minimal.
if it makes you happy to say I have a LS6 then so be it.
