Just about entirely yes.
<3 my damper
gonna look into one of those, saw one that said it was universal and could be switched from bike to bike quickly, can’t remember the name, about $500 though
+1
I travel 787 multiple times a day, and I can honestly say I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often. I can’t think of a single day in recent memory where I HAVEN’T seen a biker driving extremely recklessly. Not saying they all do, but out of all the roads I travel on a daily basis, 787 seems to draw the most reckless motorcycle riding
I had a really bad wobble recently on 378, I was getting on from Menands going towards 787 and while getting up to speed I hit some patches is the road and since I was accelerating there was little pressure on the front wheel and it started to wobble as soon on i hit them. Luckily I did not go down but it scared the shit out of me when it happened.
378 is a death trap in any vehicle.
378 has almost put me over the handlebars a few times.
378 cracked 2 leaf spring on my old oil truck i used to drive. That road is horrible.I only brought up condition cause that heave on 787 was present before his accident as my wife and i went over it to go to eg and she was like wtf i hate that bump.
Yeah, 378 east to 787 south there is a nasty bump
they have been grinding down the bumps on 378 for the past couple of weeks now. That road has been like that for as long as I can remember and could use a new paving job but thats all they are doing is grinding each bump down. Just goes to show how cheap the DOT is
This^^^
Pretty sure i read something on the time union where they are planning to completely repave that stretch by the end of summer
They have said that for years. Its been like that for as long as I can remember over 15 years. They just grind and fill over and over again on 378
Ps, fawk you for neg rapping me for pointing out the link YOU posted in your for sale ad was CHEAPER then you were selling your used air hockey table for
See this is where experience is necessary Wabbles don’t just happen unless your on a 90’s bike lol. Most bike have factory stabilizers now a days.the cause of most crashes on a straight rode like 787 its the person that blew the front tire was cut off by a car or he was trying to wheelie got it up and landed crooked. I have seen it happen a million times just never seen someone run into the guide rail and I wanted to say it really scares me that some of you talk the way you do 378 is a piece of cake to navigate down anytime its bumpy and have a lot of tar strips that cause a little slip and slide but thats it I wouldnt want be with you Guys riding up north and the road turns to gravel for 20 miles you guys would painic and probably crash
With that sad my thoughts and prayers go him and his family
