bike insurance

anyone have any good hookups on bike insurance?

i just bought a 07 gsxr 600 and allstate which is my car insurance wants $2813 for the year

who needs insurance anyways? good luck man, it sucks that they are so picky about insurance on bikes. iv got a suspension on my license cuz i didnt pay something and nobody will insure me, im sure your going to deal with the same bullshit.

weeakkk… i thought you were gonna buy a gsxr 1000… call robert palumbo (on sheridan)… he’ll hook you up

dude i love your bike but i couldnt get a personal loan due to my truck

do u have his number?

(716) 832-1736 i think

thanks willy
i just did a quote through geico and they said 4500 for a year haha yea right

is that with collision? well no shit

hes required to have full coverage since he will be making payments on the bike. when you finance through a bank, they require full coverage. when you finance through a manufacturer, you only need basic.

progressive has been my cheapest for full coverage… palumbo is a decent guy, just tell him i (will) sent you and you NEED coverage asap

statefarm, r1 was 88 bucks a month. Forgot what im paying on my 600 now, but no more than 80 a month.

State Farm is the best for motorcycle insurance. I pay about $180 a year for fulll coverage on my 600rr.

every place is different. i use progressive for my r1 and its 40 a month for basic.
my friend used progressive on his 02 gixxer 600 and full coverage was 80 a month

thanks for the help guys
i guess ill try statefarm next
ive already done proggrsive and its 336 a year liability and ike 2400 fullcoverage

idk, If you have to finance a bike…you shouldn’t have one. It’s a toy…not a necessity.
FYI: progressive liability only is only like 250 a yr.

just get liability and comprehensive to cover thieft etc… if you drop it… eat the cost… not to say that you will but if you have collision and wreck the bike… you could still end up screwed (yet bike will be paid for)

not sure what you can afford but, what ever is comfy and that you can afford take that into play

i go thru progressive for bike, super cheap for me

those are my thoughts too, but if he wants a bike and i know he will make the payments, why not? not everyone can be so lucky to have cash to put down on a bike.

i didnt ask for opinions on financing and ill do what i want i can afford it i just wanna get the cheapest insurance possible

and i have to get comp and collision cause its gonna be financed
