Just heard about an SUV rear ending a bike on the 33 at high speed. Figured this was the best place to post, hope the rider is ok.
I drove past. The whole 33 outbound was shut down after the 198 merge. There was what looked like a cruiser on the back of a flat bed, but it didn’t look damaged.
Apparently it was a hit and run. Crusier 60 YO guy… he’s OK
He will live, but isn’t necessarily “ok”. Will definitely be in the hospital for a while and will probably require surgery due to multiple fractures.
