Blew My Turbo.

word

i’m thinking of switching to amsoil to try it out, from the mobil 1 although, i have run it in everything and have never had an issue.

updates?

I beat on Cossey’s car last night. New turbo works. That is all.

so it was covered under warranty, nice :banana

Very much so. Jesse had the honor of heel-toeing it wherever possible lol.

Like a FIEND. Blippin down shifts all up and down Wolf rd.

I was like “wtf! How is this possible?”

And since then, I’ve been working on it damn near everywhere.

just revmatching or double clutch downshifting?

Double clutching is for old tractor trailer trucks w/o synchros. We were playing around with heel/toe downshifting. It’s rev-matching correctly while braking (threshold/maximum braking for road racing). How’s it coming, Cossey?

gotcha, duh.

you don’t really use your heel though, right?

i just roll my foot…i can’t manipulate my gargantuan feet that way :idiots

:rofl :rofl

what?

alot of people do it my way bruh, just asking jesse.

I use the side of my right foot. I dont know anyone that can rotate their leg like that especially while strapped into a high-bolstered seat. We’re spoiled tho; no car is as easy to heel-toe in as a BMW. Srsly.

Actually, believe it. My saturn is easier. Mr2 is okay, but not so great. Needs pedals.

Glad to hear the car’s back and running with the new turbo though. Did you remove the restrictor/filter pill in the inlet banjo line?

Eric- No, since Subaru did all of the work, I didn’t wanna ask too much. When I throw a downpipe and my uppipe on it’ll prolly get removed.

Jesse- Pretty well, I may need a few pointers while I’m driving though.

Lies. You have no idea. Our gas pedal is 3 inches from the brake and is 8" tall mounted to the floor.

word, not to mention they aren’t exactly slow revving.

well, without the stock dm flywheel :rofl

yeah, i agree, the floor mounted gas pedal, the overall space between pedals down there makes it really simple. my e36 seems to rev so much easier with the flywheel, pullies, and fan delete. way different feel than my vr6.

and with a pedals that’re SLIGHTLY larger, it’s actually one of my favorite things about the car, i also have the fly, pullies, fan delete combo:

vid i made for the bf.c noobs to show them how it revs with a lightened up s52
