So, I’m coming home last night from the stadiums, which was awesome, and was confronted by a R1 I believe. Just for the fun of it I decided to test the guys balls(who turned out to be a pittspeed member). We ended up(atleast I did) at the 145-150mph range for about 3/4 of a mile. When we came to the light at ****** bridge he pulled up and said I blew up. I looked down at my gauges and the car was stalled. It barely fired back up but managed to get it off the highway onto a side street in Northside. The fella on the bike pulled up to offer some assistance.
Think I put a hole in atleast 1 probably 2 pistons. Oil was EVERYWHERE. It was spewing out the breather on the valve cover, the spark plug holes, and shaking like crazy. I am soooo lucky it didn’t catch fire. Here is a few pics of the oil everywhere…sorry crappy cell phone pics.
I’m gonna start a members rides section for the accord since I’m gonna build it in the next 30 days. I have 2 motors for the car so I’m really not mad at all.
That sucks! But at least you’ve got plenty of spares and the dude on the bike stopped to help that was cool of him. Is the new engine gonna be built or another stocker?
aw man that sucks… your car is sick good luck with the new motor you were telling me about… i was the kid who walked over to you in the strip with the black civic.
