I just had an S13 Black Top SR swap done on my '95 S14. The SR is currently at stock boost with the stock side mount intercooler but the Blitz Dual Drive BOV I have on it won’t sound off, can this be due to the low boost level or the fact that I am still using the stock side mount intercooler? This is the sound it makes- ggguuuggggeeee, instead of PSH or CHUSH. Someone please let me know if the BOV is actually working or not. Thanks, all opinions are welcome.
Double chck all your vacuum hoses.
Looks lke it may not be hooked up properly and you are just surging your turbo.
yes check ur vacuum lines. also did u get ur BOV used? could be the valve is just stuck (ive had it happen to me) just requires some coaxing and penitrating oil to break it free.

yes actually it was used. I’m gonna check to see if it is stuck, but what else could it be besides it being stuck or the vacuum lines?
if its used, and the other person used it on a higher boost project, its possible taht they tightened up the valve so it wouldnt leak at moderate boost levels… if there is an adjuster, you might want to try loosening it off…
