i bought a new battery the other day and my friend put it in backwards and said he heard a pop. now my engine will start but nothing electrical will work. i have no idea what it could be i was lookign at fuses and found one blown. also my passenger window wont go up now. could i have shorted the motor??? please help thanks.!
chances are you didn’t but, check all the fuses, such as the big fuses right beside hte battery, and than check the kick panel fuses.
check engine bay fuses…
if your lucky you blew that 70A grey coloured fuse.
Find a parts car, those are $20ish from a dealer
Yea, what darien said is correct. If anything it was most likely the ALT fuse (the biggest grey one). Although there may be other fuses blown as well, just hope it didnt cause any further electrical problems.
yea its the alt fuse. its actually 75a and theres only one that looks like it soo you wont miss it for sure

and like they said, you probably blew the alt fuse.
my friend had the same thing happen when some moronic saturn kid used his car for a jump start and hooked up the jumper cables backwards.
