Blown Turbo?

So…pretty sure whoever stole my car ripped the shit out of it, cause my turbo blew within 10 minutes of driving after I got it back, and I didnt have an ebc hooked up and something was F’d with my boost. But I’ll give you guys the senerio and you can hopefully give me a verdict on weather this is a blown turbo or not.

Driving around, was doing around 40 or 50, engage the clutch at low rpms, poooofff. Tons of white smoke comes out of the one side of my hood where my turbo is. I pop it, try and start it, it wont start, and white smoke comes from the turbo ish area (it was hard to tell exactly). So I get the tow and take it apart and there is no shaft play at all with the turbo :s

I’m thinking blown turbo gasket or something. But someone said that since I did my own coolant and oil lines and they are rubber the lines could have melted or something. Anyway, here are some pics of the turbo. Its an S14 T28 non BB. For some reason my coolant line was all yellow and disgusting too, maybe you can help me out. Im putting on the stock turbo shortly but I’m curious to see what the deal is with this. I assumed it was blown until someone said something about a line. btw, its on a ca18det if that matters

Oil all over the turbo, (blown gasket?)

And the verdict is…

More pics available if needed.

that color in your lines is normaly a mix of oil and coolent ie probable blown head gasket.
check your oil and see if the color and consistency is the same.

Mael

Going to check right now.

Just checked my oil and its good.

Nothing is making sense im so lost.

could be the seals in the turbo then put the old one in and see
what does the water in your rad look like?

Coolant in the tank looks good. Not sure about rad.

the coolant bottle wont give u a good tell tale sign check the rad itself. you coulda split a coolant line itself. i lost a heater hose and it shot directly onto the manifold cuasing a wicked white smoke show…

any oil inside the intercooler piping?

to the average noob, you may think your oil looks good,
Look again, wipe the dipstick on your finger and look at the colour and texture and report back

minor oil in intercooler piping right near the intake but not down near the front mount. And Oil is pretty dark. Very blackish, but hasnt had an oil change in ages since I have barely driven the thing.
