BMW 325xi or Audi A4?

last summer io ran into ned at bj’s gas… he asked me why it was so loud and diesel like, i told him thats how fsi engines run… i told him THAT DAY to check the cam follower/cam for any damage or wear…to change the follower is 3 bolts and throw in a new follower… not a big deal and could have been prevented.

If nothing got ruined, what would audi charge to replace the cam follower aprox? just curious, I have no idea.
