boost control solenoid s14

my friend got a s14 93 jdm and a electronic boost control dual sbc. its set to .7bar but the turbo spool to 1 bar and get back to .7 and we can hear BIP BIP BIP BIP BIP from the boost control

We are searching for a OEM s14 boost solenoid and a manuel boost control or a way to boost .7 continuously with the fuc*ing electronic boost controller

Assuming your target it correctly set, you need to turn the gain down to supress that overboost.

I set down the boost to.7 bar but we still hear the BIPBIP from the boost controller
And is still overboosting

I want 10psi continuously

Ok the bip bip i can hear is a warning. I found the instruction of the boost control on the internet
But
what can i do to prevent this overboost???

smaller turbo…

tune your b.o.v.?(replace maybe)

ive got a factory s14 solenoid if your interested

come on guys
this is the t25 oem turbo. The s14 is totally stock.

Most electronic boost controls have both a boost target and a gain/duty setting. Setting the target boost without tuning the gain (or solenoid duty cycle) will result in some less than ideal boost curves. If your gain is not set correctly, you will not be able to hit and hold your boost target.

If you have the manual, read about tuning the gain or duty settings…

yes, on the manuel they have a suggestion for gain for the s13/s14 sr20det. Its 20. I set it on my boost control.

But when I set the boost target, I cant set it in bar or psi. Its in %. I set it to 20%
They say in the manual that 0% is the stock boost and 100% is the max boost the turbo can do. I set the warning and the limiter to 1.1 bar

So turn your boost controller off or set everything to zero and go for a rip. Log you boost level. Then slowly start increasing values…you can’t simply enter the value suggested and expect it to be right. A lot of different factors will affect the total boosted amount. For example, the manual was likely written based on tests done in Japan. How often is it -23 celcius in Japan? Temperature will affect boost…so a gain vlaue of 20 does not mean anything if the testing conditions are not the same.

Start at the zero and slowly work your way up…

today I’ve set boost to 15% but without doing a road test. i will do it in april. i will chek the boost gauge and set it down if its need
anyway there is a warning limiter set to 15 psi.

thanks for the help its very appreciate

I have the same boost controller, i haven’t had any problems with mine at all, i love it.

I have an S14 T28 on my redtop SR boosting at .83 BAR (about 12 PSI), Set my turbo % to 39%, gain set to 20 and have my limiter set at .86 BAR. I’ve only hit the limiter once cause i was fooling around with the boost settings a little too much lol.

Other than that if you set everything up properly, then you shouldn’t have a problem unless your controller isnt working properly.
