Well that makes everything clear as day. You will still have people asking about all the nonsense that was reported, but never verified (naked man, unexploded bombs at the marathon, and you can’t forget the guy in the blue coat)
All of the things you’re mentioning were coming from Twitter/News filling crap in with twitter/non confirmed crap.
i think it’s best NOT to tell anyone about that stuff and just take it at face value… they’re fucking crazy.
who the hell cares why stupid people do stupid things?
spend the school hours on financial basics and general morality.
Because there is motivation for future attacks…There is usually some sort of training, money, ideology link.
There have been extremists catholics that bomb/shoot Abortion doctors its a very small group of people. At this current point in time there happens to a number of muslim extremists.
At one time there was a number of catholic extremists mass murdering.
If you expand you thinking outside of just the US there have been a large number of attacks directly related to muslim extremists. I’m talking about attacks on civilians/government outside of conflicts during war(Iraq/Afganistan)
People are killing in the name of their religion its been happening since the beginning of religion…
You can’t forget CNN too, they were responsible for alot of jumping the gun on certain stories…
The FBI is looking for a twelve-strong Islamic sleeper cell linked to the Boston Marathon bombers.
The Daily Mirror reported:
The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.
Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.
More than 1,000 FBI agents were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.
A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.
“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”
A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.
Meanwhile… Obama does not want us to jump to any conclusions about the motivation of these two bombers.
Unreal.
You’re quoting a tabloid from the UK
Anytime there is an investigation, there will be associated “noise”. That is, facts or circumstances that are irrelevant. You need to cut through the noise (after analyzing it for relevance) and get at the facts that ARE relevant. A man that was searched and cleared, and has no affiliation with the bombers is an irrelevant fact. A fire at a library that ends up having a root cause that is not associated with an explosive device but proven to be a coincident, is an irrelevant fact.
This is why I was a bit surprised at the celebrations in Mass. To think these 2 just randomly said “hay lets blow people up” is naive.
Fear dictates irrational response.
People are afraid of “terror” They are not afraid to go into a bank when there have been far more bank robberies than open public bombings in the street.
The programmed response of Americans always seems to be like crazy shit only happens in other parts of the world. As it comes here, more people blame the other parts of the world for bringing it to our soil.
The US needs to look in the mirror rather quickly at what they are doing abroad and what they are doing with immigrants/nationalists/asylum seekers.
The after effects of this incident will be long lasting with the way “terror” is looked at in this country. Long after the names and faces are forgotten. Please Govt come take care of us in our time of need.
9,500 officers invading homes to find one 19yr old kid and shutting down an entire city…I dont know why everyone thinks they did such a great job.
When it comes down to it you have an extremely small subset of the 2nd largest religion in the world who believe based on their view of the religion that terrorist style attacks are ok and they are doing the right thing.
Sucks but that is the reality of it.
The US will never change the way it operates in foreign countries and stop intervening in fights that are based on ideologies with deep religious roots.
It’s the same thing with gun control we try and fight symptoms of a bigger issue…
People hated America because of our actions decided to fly planes into buildings so we build up all this security around flying…We didn’t change public policy instead we ramped up wars in multiple countries and now we have new generations hating us.
Kid shoots up school because of mental issues well we better restrict guns…
Dealing with symptoms and not the root cause.
Where did they get the money to buy all the guns and objects used to make the bombs. I think that they absolutely had help from somewhere or someone.
Obviously because otherwise people will post things on internet forums that isn’t true ![]()
But seriously, understanding history and why people do things is just as important as what and how they do it. Context is everything.
We also need more people to be taught financial basics, lol.
Pressure cookers are expensive?
Pressure cookers, bb’s, nails, hobby fuses, adhesives. Not exactly expensive ingredients.
Student loans would be a pretty easy way to get some money. I don’t think bombers really worry about paying back their credit.
I was referring more to the weapons they got. They also built more than 2 pressure cookers too.
Funny you mention that…
The first World Trade Center bomber was arrested when he tried to get his deposit back on the van they rented claiming it was stolen.

Guns are pretty cheap
Building small bombs like that doesn’t involve huge money.

The media originally talked a about a right wing extremist, I haven’t seen too much about him being Ivy League.
Guns and pressure cookers may be cheap but, my wife was telling me she saw someone interviewed last week who said he all of sudden had friends with money and expensive cars, etc. and he started wearing fancy shoes. Saudis have lots of money, just sayin…
