When I got my car, you could pump the brakes to get pressure, but sometimes it would just randomly lose pressure if you kept the brake pedal held in.
I changed the MC and bled the brakes… and it still does the same thing.
the brake booster looks like it is probably the original one, the car is a 92.
My question is… Could the problem be related to my brake booster at all? or should I get a brand new MC?
any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Boosters almost never fail.
Change your MC again. Bench bleed it first then install it. Also check condition of rubber/steel lines and leaking calipers.
i remember when i bled the brakes on my 89 s13 u have to bleed them in a certian sequence or they wouldnt get bled

I checked all around the car for leaks, seems dry to me.
one thing I did NOT do was bench bleed it first, would this make a big difference?
should I take the MC off, bleed it and then throw it back on?
and I bled the brakes in the right order… so I don’t think that’s the problem here.
really really bleed your brakes…i ended up going around the car about 4 times before i got a really hard one, not the one in my pants.
