When I brake, I can actually go all the way down so that i touch the ground on my car. I bled the brakes thinking that perhaps there’s too much air in the brake fluid. My mechanic told me that perhaps my MC is just not functioning properly and suggests that I should replace it. Has anyone else had this problem before? Thanks.
are you leaking brake fluid anywhere?
Have you checked pedal free play / position ?
No i’m not leaking anywhere. And no I havent. How would i go abouts checking that?
If you pump the brakes before you start the car, does the booster stiffen up the pedal and hold pressure?
If it does, more than likely it’s the MC.
It wouldn’t hurt if you tried to bleed the system manually again.

Ya it does hold pressure. I’ll probably replace the MC when i get the chance and money.
No I havent yet s13dorifto. Its actually at the body shop right now. Im waiting for the fenders i bought from ebay, and when i get it in next week, they can start the work on the car. It’ll take 5 business days to complete. Hopefully soon time.
This brake problem has been there for awhile, but im just getting info so that when i get it back, i can start fixing that problem.
